if i meet Julian Sands n Cho Jae Hyun

i'm soooo intrigued by Julian Sands. i wonder why he takes on weird roles, or as a song "Prayer for Julian Sands" goes sth like he stars in B-grade movies. The roles are so out of this world n so not-Hollywood, tragic heroes, horror stuffs, dark types, almost slowly killing one's sanity (his lead roles are sooo good at that!), or not your average ordinary lover..what makes him choose these type of roles? what is/are the attracting factors? what exactly does he look for? if it's the script, what intrigues him to do the role? what words from the script have beckoned him to do a role? he is so mysterious!

and the same question i would ask of (professor now?) Cho Jae Hyun! He does tragic heroes, non-confirming roles, disturbing roles too! why really?

these two actors have etched deep impressions in me that really, i really really really hope one day i could meet them, ask them n would love to have their in-depth explanations (character analysis too?) (erm..i need an interpreter to understand Cho Jae Hyun cos i can't understand Korean)

argh! i wish one day i could practice facial expressions in front of a mirror! i don't know why i'm too afraid, n even hate to look at my own reflection!

after a disappointing remake of Voltron i scarce to think of any English cartoon remake. So it's no surprise i a long time to remember the remake of Thundercats

but by the time i discover it has been 2011!!! last year!!!

but i gave it a try

watched...

Episode 1 n 2 back-to-back tugged my heartstrings!!! THE NEW THUNDERCATS ROCK!!!!!!!! drama n action, even the past of Lion-O's father when his father was young! lots of "copied stuffs", like Star Wars, even Saint Seya (guess what? Leo, duh), Lord of the Rings (if u look carefully), but with great sound effects n soundtrack - what else can i ask for?!

a month

sick since last month. Got caring concerns from people, thanku. i wish i am well. Been eating bland n soupy food daily for four weeks until my tongue can't tolerate heavy tastes like i used to

Seeing my mum happily munching on her favourite deep fried chicken in front of me, n the things she told me about as she goes here n there aren't helping me at all, instead i get more depressed, asking myself when i can be well again

will my tastebuds refuse Japanese food when i'm well again?

it doesn't matter, 'cos i'm jobless anyway - i hav no money to eat these type of food

but hav u ever thought of pursuing simplicity? pursuing the simple life?

would u downgrade to pursue the simple life u've ever wished for?

come to think of it, do u really need to pursue simplicity?

Simplicity is always with u, in ur face. It's just that in our pursues we forgot all about it, we don't realise it, we get frustrated

Simplicity is not just about materialism, In simplicity one also keeps a clear head in the midst of decision-making - never about being lazy n pushing responsibilities

but simplicity is just a starting top layer
