i wish the upcoming iPhone would relax on the copyright issues n let us choose songs and videos as our ringtones instead of the doing the drudging 40 seconds, maybe even let us send these to other cellphone users too, it's not for commercial purpose, it's for personal use anyway

computer graphics too obvious
Sun Wukong is UGLY
Goddess of Mercy doesn't have the look of Goddess of Mercy
Tang Seng not eye candy
Zhu Bajie looks terrible
the only thing that's good is their cover version of the ending theme song 敢问路在何方 (direct translation: bold to ask where the road is?)
i still prefer 1986 - i consider this to be the first version of the series. Every character looks beautiful to look at (that includes the first Tang Seng). Look, Sun Wukong has golden eyes, fair skin, NEAT golden fur, peachy cheeks, red lips - THIS IS 美猴王 (direct translation: Beautiful Monkey King)!!! Seriously if there's no Liu Xiao Ling Tong as Sun Wukong it's also a big disappointment and a turn-off. i miss the high-pitch thin shrill voice of Sun Wukong cos it really mimics a monkey. Script-wise, very simple but teaches us very much in our hearts
note to producers: please use China's 1986 as character and content reference. The best 西游记 (Journey to the West) ever
released 26 June
frankly i was about to give up on them. if you ask me what is the best Linkin Park album i'll say it's first album Hybrid Theory bcos it sets how Linkin Park sounds. Meteora has trails of the first album sound. Minutes to Midnight i'm not into. Kinda feel cheated. "Where's the 'Linkin Park sound'?" Minutes to Midnight makes no difference from sounding like Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Then comes A Thousand Suns..i shake my head, i'm like - what's the obsession with military? tiring to my ears. And since when Linkin Park has a definite subject theme?!
although i'm disappointed in Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns i'm still a fan bcos they are really nice people so i'll just say if they don't find new sounds they may not survive in these years..in the 80's or 90's most bands stick to the same sound for years..about 10 years they'll fade. However in this era of very fast progression it won't be 10 years..if any band can survive with the same sound for 5 years in this era the band is lucky
but thank goodness they are going back to Hybrid Theory and Meteora in their new album..cos really i was about to give up
they came to perform, i so desire so much to go but i'm jobless so i don't have the money to go and no one to go with, so with these 3 restricted conditions i can't go but i watched one of their live performances on tv n it's as i'd always believed - it's fun, power-packed, never disappointing at all
Linkin Park, if u come again, i wish i have a job, i have the money and good friends to go to your concert. i really want to come to your concert
i forgot to mention that in the new Thundercats, Snarf doesn't speak but does meow n other sounds, n still looks cute as ever..somehow this Snarf looks cuter XD!!!!
anyway like the old one it's cool to see Japanese animators in this new one, they are the best in emotion, but i wish they make Lion-O's mouth open wider when he does "HOOOO!!!" it seems like they underestimate the significant of the "HOOOO!!!" us who grew up with the original Thundercats may protest, "It's a war cry for goodness sake!!!" thus the mouth has to open wider, something like how they roar in anger
and what even rocks is Andrea Romano, the famous voice director in the 80's is back in this new Thundercats!!!! n i just realised Ted Wolf, created the Thundercats?! wow!!! His name is also in other 80's cartoons, like Jean Chalopin..i kept seeing their names in the ending cartoon credits in the 80's
honestly the 80's is a great cartoon era: beautiful, paints, smooth flowing movements, the style of the script lines are quite different too
After the 80's gradually suddenly grotesquely drawn, jerky movements, neurotic delusional mad-looking disgusting wacky cartoon characters and series, not to mention failed awful Japanese cartoon character series format wannabes spring up everywhere polluting kids' television - honestly because of these that it's no surprise kids are adversely psychologically affected as they grow up
to you
i am invisible
you spite me
you feel i am a hole
that i can never crawl out of
you ignore me
thinking i am alright
where were you
i am beaten
crushed
lonely i am
painfully
beneath the surface
every single day i am forced to live
die if i have a choice
because i can no longer see what's in front of me
only what i am doing
for now my skin is my eyes
for i am blind
my mind is here
but drift away i so desire
away from here
i'm soooo intrigued by Julian Sands. i wonder why he takes on weird roles, or as a song "Prayer for Julian Sands" goes sth like he stars in B-grade movies. The roles are so out of this world n so not-Hollywood, tragic heroes, horror stuffs, dark types, almost slowly killing one's sanity (his lead roles are sooo good at that!), or not your average ordinary lover..what makes him choose these type of roles? what is/are the attracting factors? what exactly does he look for? if it's the script, what intrigues him to do the role? what words from the script have beckoned him to do a role? he is so mysterious!
