public holiday? well...i was still studying! but Kekkaishi kept me company the whole day X3 so there i was, watching from ep 46 to the last ep

it was a day of opening n closing the door XD really longed to see helicopters and aeroplanes passing by and they did!  Even got to see a group airplane stunt and a solo stunt! And for one day there were so many chinooks passing by! and there was a group of planes n a chinook in formation flying past too! i think it's really difficult to do that, trying to hold on to the altitude in the air

and bcos i wanted to watch the feature movie on tv i sacrificed watching the celebration, concentrated on finishing my notes and told myself just watch the fireworks. There wasn't a long display but it was nostalgic - for once they kept right to the basics - singing national songs with fireworks

but i wish the singers/musicians had more exposure. perhaps the stage could be in the middle n have a moving platform for singers/ performers to leave in a flamboyant fashion while blending in with the leaving n coming of the next ground performance. i kinda miss the Military Police...they always make us squeal in excitement, always a highlight we look forward to

Sad, the last time the tanks went past the west was more than 20 years ago. we were told on tv that the tanks would travel to the five parts of the island, but we were not told that in fact they would travel around some other parts to get there. in the end we only heard that some saw the tanks passing by the west side - not only the northwest side - as well..din get to see..sigh

that aisde, i was raving to LP about Uraboku's Takashiro and Koutetsu's Koumei. Both characters were played by the same voice actor Koyasu Takehito and he never fails in fanservice. Not to mention how his characters were so *SQUEAL* drawn. At one scene Takashiro's eyes were eyelined EXACTLY LIKE KOUMEI'S!!!!!!!!! TAKASHIRO-SAMAAAAAAA!!!!! KOUMEI-SAMAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

LP read from a seiyuu mag that a Prince of Tennis OVA was out in July? i checked on the internet - in English of course - no news leh :(

chatting with LP's really fun i always get anime therapy from her...and no, BACTERIA AND ENZYMES ARE NEVER CUTE!!!!!! and Rounin Kenshin is one anime that i avoid, really avoid. i prefer fast emos like Koutetsu n Uragiri. but i always look forward for another pairing-collaboration between Soubi's seiyuu Katsuyuki Konishi and Ritsu-sensei's seiyuu who is also Takashiro/Koumei Koyasu Takehito.


i wish i could meet seiyuu Kaida Yuki one day :3 and if my Japanese is super i would like to sing "Kawa ni naru" to Koumei n some Tezuka songs to Ryoutaro Okiayu X3 for now i can only "lalalalala..run the Miracle Train" (Shinjuku's character's also voiced by Ryoutaro Okiayu)
